Ormolu Swivel Table Mirror
This elaborate Ormolu mirror is mounted on a stand with beautifully decorated arms of Rococo style decoration. The supports are attached to the base and come up on the sides of the mirror, allowing a tiny rod on each side to hold the mirror. So with this type of construction, the mirror can easily move back and forth. The base is a familiar design that has been seen in other ormolu pieces, but does support the mirror very well. The charming part of the mirror are the two sconces mounted on each arm that holds the mirror. This decorative piece would be outstanding in a parlor on a table or in a bedroom on a dresser. Ormolu is strong and brilliant!
