Tynietoy Brace Back Windsor Chair
This Windsor chair is painted a canary yellow and is in fine condition ! In identifying a Tynietoy Windsor chair, we look for the molded seat that allows the sitter a little more comfort. That seat is not just flat but has a slight curve and which is slightly raised at the front center. Another feature is the extra brace on the back so that it forms a “V”. So it has a piece of wood that juts out with this “V” placed behind the row of spindles. As in all Windsors, the legs are mounted at a slant and the trestle base has pieces of slightly bulbous centers to connect all the legs too in order to give more strength. A great chair!
