A Dollhouse Soldier
This soldier is wearing a red felt jacket and black felt trousers. His jacket is well-decorated with gold Dresden piping papers which go across his chest down to his waist. Hanging from his waist are more gold cord decorations in which a shield shape is attached and trimmed in gold papers. This is a sabretache which is like a pouch which tells where the soldier is from and is purely decorative. He also has a sword at his side with a large gilded handle. He is wearing high black boots which tells us he is in the cavalry and rode a horse in battle. He has nicely formed hands and his face has painted facial features with a short mustache. His ears are quite defined too. A very nice preserved soldier!
