A Splendid Beaded Rug
A picture cannot do the justice of the workmanship in this lovely beaded rug. If you look at the back of the rug, you can see a crocheted piece that allows the beads to be attached to the design of a rug. The outside border is made of red beaded loops attached to the crocheted flowers. Then a series of rows done with the beads fills in the outer oval of the rug. Another design appears outlining the center. The crochet work actually helps to emphasize the bead work. This is a work of beauty and skill!
Measurements: The rug is a 7” oval.
