A Rare Ormolu Lamp

The lamp shade of Bristol glass is flat on the sides and has an opening on the top. It fits firmly in an ormolu band around the edge of the shade. It has several brackets underneath to hold everything in place. The stand that holds up the shade is in ormolu in mint condition. It is made to look like kerosene would be held in the pot in the form on the stand. Beautiful ornamentation in ormolu starts at the top of the stand down to the floor! (Note: The ormolu is bright gold- doesn't show well in the photos)
