A Rare Ormolu Gramophone

We seldom see this piece for sale! The wheel on the right turns and a disk also moves and provides a ticking sound! A horn is mounted on a back bar and it moves back and forth. The entire gramophone is mounted on a beautiful ormolu base with short feet on all four corners.  The life-size gramophone was invented in 1887 by a German immigrant, Emile Berliner.

This piece was originally in the Cushman Dolls' House and then moved to the Spanish House.
